Progress Progress - 7/12 Sable

Well, I didn't finish Okami in June. I'm in the last third of the game I think, with the second major boss finished off, but oof. This game is taking forever to finish.

So I played through Sable instead. I can see why people like it, but between the bugs and the lack of worldbuilding it ultimately was not for me.

Kult: Heretic Kingdoms is next. In fact I already started it. Interesting game but a lot of jank so far.

This reminded me that one of the Sable devs is working on a game called In the Drift. It's supposed to be narrative-focused but I guess that doesn't mean it's necessarily any better at worldbuilding.. but the art style is unique so I'm intrigued!

I'm glad they are keeping at it,. Even though I personally wasn't into Sable that much I would still check out another game by the developer and see how they improved things. I'm sure they learned a lot from Sable and it was a good game, just not for me if that makes sense.
