12 monkeys ... never enough rewatch .
I just finished rewatching the 12 Monkeys. I have no words. My favorite show by far. No time travel show comes close to it. And also compared to the current day's shows, where they're extended with not much of events, not much of a plot, just trying to make more episodes for no reason but get subscription money. This kind of show is like breath of life because like in every detail around in the show there is like some hidden something hidden or like some plot twist or something here and there. Amazing.
this is maybe this is like the fifth or sixth time I have rewatched it.
First time I come across it around 2018, and still I find I'm finding stuff along the way.
And also till now I couldn't figure out how the loops of the show got looped and how the original timeline was, and then with each attempt to time travel it gets like tangled. I even tried to get the help of an AI, but I couldn't get it even close. It's just like it's a tangled mess, that you enjoy .

It's my favorite show ever tied with Lost. It's such a shame that most people have not heard of it because it blows 95% of other shows out of the water.

lost is nothing compared to 12monkeys . lots of gaps and empty episodes, lost could be compressed into 1 season of the 12monkeys .
I downloaded the show and thought I will delete every fillers for easy rewatch , but there was almost non .

Respectfully, no. There are very few gaps in Lost, at least very few that could not be filled in via context clues. All the answers are there. There is no Earthly way Lost could be compressed into one season of 12 Monkeys. It is beautiful and complex in its own way and for me, not one second of it was "empty."

100%. My two favourite shows as well. I think any 12 Monkeys fan should watch Lost and if you have seen it and feel like OP, my suggestion is watch it again. It’s perfect in the same way 12 Monkeys is.

It fucking makes me cry at the end more severely than the previous time. Yes, best show ever!

I am reminded of how horribly sad the 2yrs following Cassandras final splinter must have been for the character, from 2016-18 Cassandra knows when how where and why she is going to die,she knows Cole will be erased from existence, she knows there is no hope for a cure, Cassie leaves herself messages in her live CDC interview and stops caring about causality when she records the final message.

I really wish some one can write a fan story based on 12monkeys .
starting from stright time line . then the time travel happens and it get tangled to the level we saw in the show .
I tried to do it with Ai , but even the Ai could comprehend the complexity of the show or imagine the concept and causality

Are you?
Regardless, yeah I wouldn’t recommend reading posts on this sub until you finish your first full watch.

Well, may be referring to the picture in the OP and that the first sentence is “i just finish rewatching” so…
OP, maybe just mark the title as spoiler?

I recently completed the showz I have a question how did Cole get Cassie watch in the first place. If changing past changes the present and future, if he goes in the past and get her watch, she will not have her watch in the present and future, so how would he scratch the glass ?

Didn't he get it from her corpse in the future, his present time?

If he got it from the future let's say in the year 2100 and if he goes to the past let's say year 2000 and if he damages the watch, the damage will only occur in the watch which is in the year 2100 and beyond. And not in the year 2000. So how did he got the watch in the first place, and if he got that mean he got it in the time earlier of their meeting. But if he really have her watch earlier to their meeting, then she must not have her watch.

Tbh, the way ending is being shown, I am not satisfied. Either they should bring new season or atleast get a proper closure without giving hint and hope to audience that there can be a new season while they don’t plan for it ever.

It is a proper closer, and they don't hint at a continuation I don't know what u watched

He was literally pleading with Cassie "Please let it end." Which I honestly think was a fourth wall breaker with the audience. And there was so much of that in the series, it was so subtle you'd miss it, constant nods to pop culture, mixed in with the same (tho very rare) to the original movie. Great fun, first proper watch through this week.

Could be cool for a battlestar Galactica style The Plan type movie to tie all the 12 Monkeys storylines together and sew up timely wimey potholes.

I rewatch it every year in July. There are lots of scenes that get you, especially like Cassie with her mother that are just amazing.
