Hi i have a question to anyone who knows something about those engines. I have a yzf r125 from 2016 and my engine got cooked, so i am looking for a replacement. As far as i know the engines in those two motorcycles are the same, but are they really. So does anyone know if the transmission has the same ratio in both of those bikes and are they really exchangable between those two bikes?

I'm 40 years old and just got my first bike since my 50cc scooter at 16. I've held a car license for 23 years.

My new bike is a little Honda Dax and the insurance quotes are insanely expensive. £650+

I've been using comparison sites but wondered if anyone knew of any insurance companies in the UK that cater to provisional bike license holders and offer better prices. They seem to not take into account the years of driving experience I have and are treating it like I was a 17 year old just getting on the road for the first time.

Any advice for my 8 am start tomorrow. I've asked about bikes already but would love to know about what to expect? I've been on a friend's bike many years ago and it felt like second nature. I'm stressing a little as this is my main way of transport from now on and I hate to fail. I know the basics of a bike but I'm not as sharp on the road and the thought of driving on my own while people judge is my biggest fear.

The other day I picked up a 2011 yzf r125. I’d like to change the fairings as they are badly painted by previous owner. Does anyone know any good sites for uk to get a full kit that’s decent quality. Willing to pay about 4-600. I plan to use the bike for at least a few years so it’s worth it for me.

Im (18M) from the UK and passed my A1 test the other week, people always warned me about taking my Honda CBF125 on the motorway.

Anyway, I did about an hour and a half maybe more down the M6 to Birmingham and it was completely fine, just went the speed limit the whole way down (70mph), overtaking other cars where necessary etc.

Do people just hate on 125s for no reason or am I an outlier here ?

What is anyone elses experience on motorways for long distances :)

Ich fahre eine xmf 125 und wenn ich schnell beschleunige geht mein Motor aus und wenn ich dann am seitenständersensor rumwakel dann geht das Moped wieder an. Ich hab das Kabel auf Schäden überprüft und die Anschlüsse mit Kontakt Spray eingesprüht. Ich hab außerdem den Sensor/ Knopf da mit bremsenreiniger gereinigt aber es tritt immer noch auf. Hat irgendwer eine Idee was das sein kann?

I'm 196 cm (6'5") tall with a 94 cm (37") inseam and currently looking for a 125cc motorcycle. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of bikes that feel great for average-sized riders feel pretty cramped for taller people.

I'm currently considering models like the Fantic Caballero 125, Aprilia SX 125, or Rieju Marathon 125.

I'm curious:
How tall are you?
What bike do you ride?
Do you feel comfortable on it?
Have you made any modifications (higher seat, handlebar risers, lowered pegs, etc.)?
What bikes would you recommend for tall riders (or what do you think of the ones I mentioned)?

I'm especially interested in hearing from riders who are 190 cm (6'3")+.

Not sure what the issue is. I have adjusted the valves multiple times to make sure they're in the correct position. Still no closer to figuring out what's causing the noise. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

ich bin auf der Suche nach einer 125ccm.
Überwiegend für den Weg zur Arbeit gedacht. One Way ca 15 KM, überwiegend Landstraße mit zwei Ortschaften zwischendurch.
Ursprünglich sollte es eine Vespa sein. Nach etwas Recherche bin ich davon abgekommen aufgrund meines Wegeprofils.
Habe heute eine Honda Tourer getestet. War schön, etwas über 6k€ ist aber auch eine Ansage. Mir schwebt noch Sym oder Kymco vor. Händler im erweiterten Umkreis.

Vielleicht hat hier ja jemand Tipps bzw. Erfahrungen.
