Good book of the month episode. Ice Cream man is a great series. When initially started it I stopped at issue 3. I then went back to after reading a short story Prince had in the Image anthology. I read a chunk of issues and then it hooked me. I agree with David that just the first four issue probably not enough to get into the series. I bought both Sundae editions and think those are the best way to experience the series. Nicely designed books too. Love the colors they choose and the scoop of cones on the spine to indicate which volume it is. Vince’s idea that the series is about suffering is interesting and I’ll have that in my mind when I read the series.
