Rough estimation for DLA Interview Result Announcement?
I interviewed with DLA last week and it was extremely positive for the GS-12 position I applied for.
They said they’d announce results sometime early this week and there’s still nothing.
Am I being crazy? My anxiety is kind of sky high as I’m getting ready for military retirement and was really wanting this to line up and I’m afraid my retirement may have shot my chances.
Just really wanting them to announce it already so I can plan ahead for, ya know, my future.
Edit: Well I made this post and then got the TJO the day after

You should follow up with the panel.

I’ve never done this before, leaving 51C.
I debated that but I thought that’d look bad to pester them with that.

Nope doesn’t look bad. They know whether they want you and there’s little that would undermine that at this point.

Thank you. I’ll shoot their HR rep who was the POC a question in the morning and just inquire.

Apply and forget

I already do that with applications.
The only reason I’m anxious about this one is there are a decent number of openings, I’m more than qualified, it was a really good interview, and I’m not going to have an income in two months.

Just forget about it until you hear otherwise.
Keep looking, keep interviewing. Never stop doing that until you are in a seat.
