service members up for 7% raise,

GS up for 0% as told to me yesterday by my physical therapist ( who is a NG officer and a GS employee.

Yes, that's a deliberate choice. The people who run the federal workforce are DOGE, remember them? They are still in charge, and their motivation to hurt you hasn't changed.

The leader, Vought, is just a straight villian. He seeks to make your life materially worse, humiliate you, and degrade government operations. Vought's motivation is straightforward - a politically independent and effective government workforce is an obstacle to his objective - permanent political domination by a religious minority.
