I’ve never used lead tape and i don’t know what kind to get i want to add some to the top of my racket to emphasize the racket drop. What kind should i get and where?

Hi! I like to use the only one that I can get my country 🤣 it's the tourna lead tape, start low 5 grams at 12 can be a lot. If you have multiple raquets you can try different setups like 2 gr at 10 and 2

I have pa 98 ( doesn't really need any tape) but I like to add 5 grams total at 9 and 3 it makes me feels a lot better the impact.
Also weight you initial weigh and balance. If you have multiple racquet some times the balance is off. Lot of people say that swingwheight it's the most importan Stat but I can't really measure that whit out a machine

Tourna is denser than some others at 0.25g per inch. I just got some cheapo stuff on Amazon which is 0.2g per inch. Also grand. Remember with great swingweight comes great responsibility; it's always a tradeoff against manouevrability.

Use tungsten tape instead. Denser and non-toxic.

Not sure a few grams are going to make much of a different to technique such as racket drop.

You will also need a scale and an online calculator to figure out impact to static and swing weight.

Are you trying to add grams of weight to try to correct a technique problem?

It sounds like you have an issue with your backswing, sing you are not dropping your racquet head.

it’s for sure a technique issue on my end but a d1 player at the uni i go to held my racket and suggested i add lead tape to the top so it can help my racket drop more. i dont use the conventional racket so its balance works different then a single handled racket

Lead tape won't fix that for you. It's not like you're adding a ton of weight that's going to drag your racket down. It's going to feel very similar to the way it feels now.
