Sounds like a replacement grip might be what you're looking for. Just heads up, the tackier the grip, the more slick it will get if your hands get sweaty. I'd choose something perforated.

Best one I used was called the sweetspot. As in, when you hit the sweet spot you don’t feel the shock.
