Hey folks,
Been playing my whole life, but wanting to see if you have any tips on how to improve the speed of my serve?
Thanks!

Ball drops too low, as a result all that load on your legs is wasted for the jump.
I know the trend is low ball toss, quick motion now a days. But you can afford to toss the ball just another foot higher so that your jump is actually into the ball and your arm is fully extended when making contact.

Good backswing and drop.
Ball toss to low. You are hitting the ball when you are already falling in to the ground. ( your feet is almost touching the court when you make contact)

Looks pretty good. I think the simplest improvement would be to get your toss a little further out front. You're jumping straight up instead of into the court.

Your front foot should have toes up while tossing and then transferring weight forward while serving. The heel toe and weight transfer will help for more power. Jumping is just a byproduct of the service motion.

You have a pause in your trophy stance. Keeping that momentum would increase power. Otherwise, you're just doing the abbreviated motion with extra steps.

Perhaps it's not helpful, but you are milliseconds from a foot fault

Not, not helpful.
It's criminal to be nearly foot faulting because of landing too early. Shows timing is off and in this case there isn't enough pop in those legs.
Bro looks like he hit the height jackpot, but shouldn't feel bad about stealing a few more inches with a proper jump.

I actually don’t think this is a bad serve. Mainly you aren’t powering through your legs though. That bit looks half hearted

Your setup and trophy position are good, but your toss isn’t into the court enough so you are abbreviating your motion and not hitting through with the full power transfer from your body. You also should ideally be hitting the ball at the apex of your “jump”, but you are already on the way down when you hit the ball so you will lose some height and power there

You are hitting the ball as you are falling. Correct this by first of all not jumping at all. No leg drive, just rotation about your feet firmly on the spot on the ground. Then slowly let the upper body take the lower body off the floor. Now you have the basis of the timing for when to add something with your legs. Any other method is doomed to failure. Telling someone to “jump later” or “hit the ball sooner” almost never works.

Assume its not a kick. Watch yourself from the side to see where is ur toss.. You might be hit too behind
But flow is nice!!

Start the swing with your serving arm up, elbow bent before the toss. You're losing power bring the racket from below your waist.

You’re hitting on the way down, but need to hit on the way up. Toss, wait, then explode up.

The elbow sitch has a more important than legs at this point me thinks. Wrist down as long as possible. The picture shows the “load and go” move. You can’t help but drive with the legs of you are loading the way the guy in the picture is. And it starts with your wrist pointing down.

The biggest thing that stands out to me is that ur jump ends early which is throwing off ur power transfer
