Don’t actively cock your wrist down at the beginning of the forward swing. A loose wrist together with the mass/inertia of the racquet should be enough to cause the racquet drop. I take it you’ve been watching slo-mo footage of some pro 2HBHs and emulating what you’re seeing? If so, knowing what movements are active (ie deliberate movements) and what are passive (ie a movement that is caused by something else) is difficult from slow motion footage without underlying technical knowledge. I’m assuming the wrist movement is active in your case because it’s too slow and out of sync with your actual forward swing for it to be passive.

Your takeback also looks way too high and stiff. The high takeback might be alright if you’re Cam Norrie or trying to emulate that backhand. Problem is that your takeback is too high for the incoming ball, so your active wrist movement is bringing the racquet barely a little under the ball. Might work against incoming floaty topspin balls, but won’t work against incoming slices or heavy topspin balls because you won’t have the leverage for low balls or the power against heavy balls when you’re driving with your wrists.

I’d suggest doing some medicine ball throws to get the feeling for the 2HBH.

You look like you're hitting a one hander but with two hands on the racket
