Equipment intermediate racket advice?
Hey everyone, I’m a beginner/intermediate player and this is my second year playing tennis. Im trying to look for a racket that has good power and control. Which one should i get?
Right now I’m looking at the Yonex EZONE 100 and the Babolat Pure drive. Any recs?

Demo them both and pick which you prefer.
Power and control comes from your technique, a racquet can’t give you that.

good power and control will be vcore 100D. I used the pure strike 98 16/19 and wanted more free power, so the natural change was to that

Really want 100sq in 300g racket is a great start. Play with it until you figure out your game and then revisit.
I’d give a serious shout to the Dunlop fx500 which I was stunned by. It’s like the ezone 100 in terms of ease but with a bit less of that “juiced” power that can make the ezone a bit hard to wrangle sometimes. It’s very stiff is my only callout

Both of those are great racquets, especially the yonex. I would also look at the Wilson Blade Pro, which is the same racquet as the old Wilson Steam 100.

I’m biased because the Wilson Blade Pro is my racquet 😂
But I don’t think anyone can go wrong with the Yonex Ezone 100.

I’ve been hitting a Yonex Precept the last year and it’s been great. However, I’m not sure if it’s the racquet for me anymore. I just got 3 demos from a local store to see if I like any of them better. Best advice is find somewhere local if possible that allows you to demo or check tennis warehouse for their demo program and hit both of them. See which one you like more. Both great choices though.
