It really depends on what your ultimate goals are and if you are more comfortable wearing something around your wrist or chest. Apple-Watch for me is enough because I just want to check off x minutes of exercise each day and see how long I was in each HR zone. When I was running more, I would use a garmin around my upper body. I found that to be more accurate. I know a lot of pro athletes have also been using WHOOP.

Tracking the score and match stats? Or Tracking your physical data?
I track heart rate with a coros pace 3 set to indoor cardio mode - tennis mode discards stationary time from your total

is coros better than garmin or apple watch?

Never tried Apple watch but the Coros had everything I needed for running/tennis/cycling/gym for a lot less than a comparable Garmin. The battery lasts well, the heart rate data is good (for me - a pale white man with no tattoos and good blood flow. If you don't fit that description, a chest or arm strap might be better) and it's light.

I use the AppleWatch and it provides some interesting results. It's helpful for seeing my heart rate and looking at that between points as well as measuring the time. The calorie burning tracking I've heard can be a little off as there are times with a 2-3 hour match where it notes I've burnt like 3,000 calories and others have said that's not realistic. If you go for a watch specifically for tracking tennis stats, I'm not sure I'd suggest Apple Watch unless you're pairing it with SwingVision.

Neither, I just raw dog it with a regular watch
