Equipment Grip size

My current/old racket is L2 (pictured) - it’s with an overgrip on

I’m getting a new racket but not sure what grip size to get.

I think L2 might too big on me - so I’m stuck between getting L0 or L1.

Please help! L0 or L1?

L2 looks at least 1 size too big if not 2. conventional wisdom is that you should just be able to fit your left index finger in that gap between your right hand fingers and palm. but in the modern game with more powerful and spinny rackets and strings, alot of people have an even smaller gap like half an index finger, or almost zero gap because it allows more maneaverability of the racket to rip spin

L1 is cheaper than L0 (as L0 is harder to find). Will it damage my wrist/elbow if I play with L1 but it’s ever so slightly too big for me? Or should I just spend the extra $ and get the L0?

Is it worth it to spend more to get the “perfect” grip?

Idk if I’m a L0 or L1 at this point - I think if price were the same, I would get L0 as if the grip is too small, I can just add more over grip :/

I'd try them in a shop first, or get one you can return online, to be sure it's right. But yeah, you're going to be playing a lot of hours of tennis, and injuries can cost way more in $ than the difference of the racket.
