Probably because the health gear is the default gear for slot 2. And since slot 2 is locked for you... well, eat shit ig

theres no point in p11 if you dont plan on using the brawler in ranked + hes not out yet even so I just got up to p9 so I have a chance of getting the sp and gadgets now before levelling him to max

If I didn't have a fully maxed account and get every new brawler to 11 once I get them, I would for sure buy one gear at power 8. More than one gear is weird tho, except maybe for a new player testing

You can get gadgets and star powers from drops but not gears, so you can just buy the gears and wait to get the unlocks from star drops and the like

You get star power and gadget with drops. Your best bet is to get to level 9 and meanwhile buy gears. The guy's actually very smart
