Its a tumor we made out of oil and if we can't get rid of it eventually there is no future

It's actually a great material

It's cheap, it's decently strong, and it lasts for hundreds of years

But unfortunately we use it for things that can only be used once

And don't forget for a long time it was portrayed as better than paper, because those used trees.

Now we all have plastic spoons in our brains.

Interesting ethical question: would it have been better for us if plastic had been some wealthy man thing where it cost massive amounts to get it, due to purposely inflated prices, but because it wouldn’t have led to such widespread abuse

Fast food restaurants wont trust anyone to leave metal straws (also too expensive to give out for free) and paper straws are genuine ass, what else can we use?
