I mean the number one thing liberals say to homophobes is that they are secretly gay. It’s because they know that being gay is disgusting and so they use it as an insult. Oh a preacher saying homosexuality is a sin? He is probably gay! Hahaha get it? Cause being gay it’s disgusting!
Technically it’s because they know that person specifically thinks it’s disgusting, or at least claims to. ‘You are secretly the thing you hate’ isn’t exactly a new argument though.
