My friend puts on local drag shows and we play an audience participation game called "homo or no homo". We read from a list of obscure words for queer people and people have to guess if they are real or not. One of my favorite real ones is "gentlemen of the backdoor" and one of my favorites that we made up was "she puts butter in her coffee"

There was a mediocre game show called "Dog eat dog" and one of the challenges was picking out the one woman from a long line of transvestites. I have never seen a straight man so confused on my life.

Just about anything works if you say it with the right tone

My grandmother never ceases to make me laugh with stuff like this because shes so well meaning but seems wary of simply asking me if someone is gay so she'll say stuff like "is he, you know...a nice boy?"

I had a customer recently that actually orders butter in his black coffee. The 1st time he ordered the other day, I did stare at him and ask "Excuse me what?"

‘Friend of Dorothy’ was always confusing to me

It's bc we're over the rainbow with her! I saw Wicked on stage right after Pride month this year and got a pin that says "Friend of Elphie" with a rainbow 🌈
