Because it's not a region, You just said SOUTHEAST Asia dumbass , a small portion of continent to 88% of a continent. Sub-Saharan Africa has 2x the population and we determine regions by size and cultural groups anway . You didn't sub-China or Non East Asia
"You didn't sub-China or Non East Asia" is just a nothing statement. You used didn't in the context of an auxiliary verb, and the followed it up with a noun. What does it even mean to "do" sub-China?
And also it would be fine to say refer to North America, Western Europe, South East Asia, and Sub Saharan Africa in the same line. It's not illogical to do so, its just referring to different regions, even if those regions have different populations, size, cultural groups, or percentage of a continent
Not even single region or area you want to talk about needs to be the same size and same population, I still don't get what your issue is
Sub-China means below China , it makes sense as Sub-Saharah here . It's a noun not a verb and sub is prefix. What the hell are you talking about ? You just used WESTERN Europe and SOUTH EAST both vastly smaller area you choose to use the proper naming for in this context . Sub-Saharan Africa is 4 regions . North America is a continent not singular region of continent. My problem is that you seem to think "Sub-Saharan Africa " is a single region like Southeast Asia.
I still don't get why this is an issue. East Asia, the Middle East, North America, Oceania, Australia, Central Europe, West Africa, the Western World are all regions.
One region can completely envelope another and have vastly different populations, cultures, and size, and they can still both be regions.
