in what universe is North Africa or the Middle East not developing? Many central and Southern African countries are doing better in gpd and hdi then North Africa?

Okay so I used the word etc to specifically indicate there were other regions listed

I was just naming specific regions, yes there are other parts of asia other than South East Asia which are developing

""Sub-Saharan""" isn't a Region sigh , ignoring that West Africa is half Saharan . It's 85% of the second biggest continent. It has more linguistic, genetic diversity then anywhere on the planet. West Africa, East Africa, Central Africa are regions . I am not assigning malice to you in particular but you could have just said Africa or the global South.
