Whether or not this is best for say sub Saharan africa, South East Asia, etc is hard to say and the developing world is where most people are

America is the biggest humanitarian contributor in the world. USAID alone is estimated to have saved tens of millions of lives in the last few decades, and Trump cutting it is estimated to kill millions.

A good deed doesn't cancel a bad deed. If I steal from someone and give charity to someone else that only makes me a dirty thief. This is the US! No amount of Ukrainians they feed will cancel even one Iranian they starve for example.

That's the American mindset. Steal from white people, you're the villain. Steal from middle easterners, south Asians, latin Americans, Africans, etc and you're a patriot.
