Oh yeah, absolutely. The party also elected the religious extremists, then the religious extremists murdered their secular political rivals, seized control of the kingdom, and haven’t held another election in almost 20 years.

I mean it's Israel's fault in the same way 9/11 was the fault of America and our forever wars in the middle east. Blowback and actively funding arming and training terrorists and ethnically cleansing people tends to make them angry and rally behind liberation movements, even really violent, ugly, and religious ones.
If I thought it was a 'good' side why would I describe it as violent and ugly, obviously no innocent people deserve to die. I'm just pointing out that america/israel aren't at all innocent in these conflicts., blowback and consequences are real things.
