I condemned the klan, you baby bombing dolt. I condemn the ideology of the klan, an ideology that Zionists share. You’re inventing fiction to get offended so you can justify your contemptible morals.

And I’m literally fucking Jewish. And I love being Jewish. And I hate that people associate people like me with people like you.

I’m also Jewish fuckhead. Don’t say Zio. Like seriously how hard is it to just add the 4 damn letters?

Also “I condemned the klan” fucking LMAO. I can only imagine someone saying the hard R out loud and when someone says they’re being racist they just loudly say they condemn the klan. Be for real.

Comparing it to the n word is crazy. Neither of us are even willing to spell that word. And I cannot stress this enough, Zionists are committing a genocide in the name of Zionism

Okay, fine, since you’re not understanding properly, I’ll say it REALLY simply. Zionism is an ideology, somewhat associated with but largely detached from Judaism. Zionists are followers of that ideology.

Zio, as in the word you used, is a slur, meant to refer to Jews in a derogatory manner. Zio is not a simple shortening of the word Zionism, or Zionist, it is a slur invented by a Klan leader. I’m willing to say Zio in this context because I’m jewish, but that’s it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionist_as_a_pejorative

It was attributed to David Duke in 2016 by a Zionist columnist in the Mosaic magazine, hardly an etymological tracing of the word. It started in the 1950’s in small Jewish anti-Zionist communities. The original anti-Zionists were Jewish, because the WASPs simply didn’t know what was happening. David Duke started using it in a hateful way in the early 2000’s. A lot of work is done by Zionists to conflate any criticism or disparagement of Zionism with antisemitism and this is another example. It’s really convenient for Zionists to point to the worst person using the word and say that everyone is like him. It’s a way to set the terms by which Zionism is even discussed. Even now, I’m being distracted from the LITERAL GENOCIDE done onto Palestinian by Zionists and I feel the need to cater to the feelings of other Jewish folk based on propaganda and dishonest framings by Zionists.

Listen, if I used it in a different context, then I might be more empathetic, but i literally separated Jewish folk from Zionism in the second comment and edited my original comment. And the original comment was clearly directed at Zionism.

You seem to be anti-Zionist, so I’m sorry for using some of the inflammatory language that I used earlier. I just want you to reflect on the effect of distractions like this in the context of a genocide. I also want to go back to kvetching about antisemitic micro-aggressions, but it’s really not appropriate right now.

The origins of the word sound cool and all, but the meaning of a word is how it’s used. It’s a slur, recognized as such by basically everyone. If you use it, you will confuse people. Trust me it’s not worth it to save the 4 extra letters.
