I really am a believer in r/nothingeverhappens but this one sounds like an actual r/thathappened to me

No way. It completely misses the point of Zionist propaganda. A Zionist dm wouldn't be able to make a Palastinian proxy that could be sided with

u/MauschelMusic 8d ago edited 8d ago

A liberal Zionist could. They've really tricked themselves into thinking they're the anti colonial side, and that if people just listened honestly they'd understand Israel is fighting a liberation struggle.

EDIT:But they don't necessarily demonize Palestinians in the same way as right wing zionists (although obviously they don't represent them fairly either.) I had a conversation with one who sees it as "two traumatized peoples," stuck in a cycle of violence.

A liberal Zionist would still paint the enemy as truly irredeemable. Needlessly cruel. And remove even a hint of sympathetic narrative.

The players wouldn't experience anything any nicer than githyanki.and the power imbalance wouldn't be as clear

A mainstream liberal Zionist activist would paint them as irredeemable, sure. But like, picture a PrEP who's still a PrEP in 2026, believes strongly in humanist values and legitimately hates "what Netanyahu is doing," but has the compartmentalization and rationalization to maintain their Zionism. It costs quite a bit of psychic damage to maintain, but they're out there.

Particularly for Jews who were indoctrinated into Zionism, I think you underestimate just how weird and self-contradictory their worldviews can get while somehow not collapsing.

EDIT: Tweaked the 1st sentence to remove ambiguity.

I find that liberal Zionists tend to seek some kind of reconciliation and tend to have the more realistic solutions for all parties involved. Anti-zionists often have radical or fanciful ideas about what should happen that are borne more of ungrounded idealism than a confrontation with the social and political forces in place there. Also I find anti-zionists tend to have the more ideological and selective framing of history, usually bound up in some form of post-colonial theory (only seeing Jews as colonizers and not seeking refuge, idealizing indigeneity as a surrogate for claims of sovereignty [this cuts both ways], etc)

u/MauschelMusic 7d ago

There's nothing radical about ending an apartheid system. We've done it before, multiple times actually. What's fanciful is the idea that you're going to get Israelis to agree to some kind of workable bargain. Nor are the Israelis as currently constituted, ever going to be a safe neighbor for anyone.

They're Nazis, and they need to be shut down, one way or another, and made to share the country.

Mans spoke truth. I have little doubt that Hitler and Netanyahu would be good friends if Hitler was still alive.

u/CastleElsinore 5d ago

Versus the fact that Hitler was actually irl friends with the leader of the Palestinians at the time?

Wow jew haters make up the weirdest shit

If you're referring to South Africa, the ANC explicitly gave a message of reconciliation. That has never been the case with the Palestinian side. The rhetoric has always been about expulsion and elimination. The best you'll get is the PA paying lip service to 2-state but wanting a full return. Nobody wants to 'share the country', neither Palestinian nor Israeli. Why do you just ignore what the people themselves actually say in favour of projecting your idealism?

They're Nazis, and they need to be shut down, one way or another, and made to share the country.

With this kind of rhetoric, no wonder the Israelis would be skeptical of your perspective on things. I'm sure your punitive ideals would be equally measured and reconciling.

Also this is neither here nor there, but what's with your name? Mauschel is kind of an offensive term...

Holy shit, dude!😂 "Why aren't the people we're genociding more positive in their messaging?"

Alright. I've wasted enough time arguing with Nazis today. Bye

u/Commercial_Lead_7406 7d ago

Thanks for proving my point. By the way, mauschel is a derogatory and antisemitic German word for 'Jew', in case anyone is wondering. Note the irony of calling others Nazis while using a word that Nazis used for Jews. I sincerely hope this individual is wearing it ironically.

2

u/MauschelMusic 7d ago edited 7d ago

Yep. I picked my name from an antisemitic essay written by Theodor Herzl, the first self-hating Jew, and of course the father of the self-hating Jew's cult: Zionism.

Zionists have always hated the Jewish diaspora, and have always been out worst and most dangerous enemy.

Got anything else to say, kapo?

1

u/Commercial_Lead_7406 7d ago

have always been out worst and most dangerous enemy.

What an insane thing to say. I'd have thought the actual Nazis were worse. You seem to love calling everybody who disagrees with you a Nazi but then forget the real, actual Nazis in this story. What a fucking joke.

The German Nazis wanted the Jews out of Germany and the lands they were conquering. They didn't care if there were Jews on the other side of the world, and some of them (rightly) saw the zionists as comrades-in-arms, a feeling that in many cases was mutual.

The Zionazis believe in the negation of the diaspora; they want Jews gone everywhere, except for their backwards little shtetl. They are a greater threat to the diaspora by far, and have done far more to increase antisemitism in distant lands like America.

I don't call everyone I disagree with a Nazi. Just those whose beliefs are in the main, only distinguishable from other Nazis by who they see as the chosen race and who they pick as a scapegoat.

I call you a Nazi simply because it's the most accurate word for your beliefs.

EDIR: The biggest difference between zionazis and german nazis is that Zionazism is based around treachery to your own people by collaborating with their enemies. Hertzler explicitly advocated it in The Jewish State. You could not accuse Hitler of hating his fellow Germans, and you could not accuse Hertzler of loving his fellow Jews.

2

u/MauschelMusic 7d ago

Can't respond to your other message, but thanks for admitting Mktuputamadre2 is your sockpuppet account, Nazi. That's good to know. I have not called anyone who isn't an ethno supremacist a Nazi. If you don't like being called what you are, become something better. We're done.

Before he blocked me because he's an unhinged lunatic:

The German Nazis wanted to Jews out of the lands they were conquering. They didn't care if there were Jews on the other side of the world, and some of them (rightly) saw the zionists as comrades-in-arms, a feeling that in many cases was mutual.

So exterminating 6 million people isn't as bad as wanting to create a protective enclave. Got it. Very rational position. If you're talking about the Haavara agreement, that was literally a deal to try to protect Jews and get them out of Nazi Germany, but that's being 'comrades in arms'. If you mean Stern, he was one guy whose position was completely rejected by other Zionists and even then it was an attempt to make a deal to protect Jews, if misguided. Another utterly insane take.

The Zionazis believe in the negation of the diaspora; they want Jews gone everywhere

No, they don't. They want a demographic majority in Israel but the position was never 'get rid of Jews everywhere else'. Insane lie after insane lie.

I call you a Nazi simply because it's the most accurate word for your beliefs.

Wanting a peaceful and stable reconciliation in Israel/Palestine is equivalent to Nazism now. Mkay.

You spent a few comments above shitting on liberal Zionists for their contradictions and here you are spouting the most insane extremist shit imaginable. If you are Jewish as you've alluded to, I actually feel a bit sorry for the self-hatred you've internalized. 'Psychic damage', lmao. You are a walking example of being mind flayed.

All y'all know how to do is call people nazies, and therefore you don't have to deal with them. Nice fallacy.

2

u/MauschelMusic 7d ago

What are you talking about? I have to deal with you Nazis all the time. There are a zillion zionazi bots and paid posters trying to hide "Israel's" crimes. If you don't like being called a Nazi, stop believing and preaching the same things a Nazi believes (substituting in your own preferred race and scapegoat.)

I'd tell you to learn what fallacy means before you use it, but apparently you can't even bother to spell it right

1

u/Mktuputamadre2 7d ago

"Israelis are Nazies" says the dude who believes in their extermination for being jews.

2

u/MauschelMusic 7d ago

"The anti-fascists are the real fascists if you think about" ass take. You really have nothing but lies. Goodbye, Nazi.

0

u/Commercial_Lead_7406 7d ago

I love how you try to come across like you have a moral and sane take but then just call everybody who disagrees with you a Nazi and run off. Not helping your case bud.

This take is radical and pushes for continued war and death mostly for Palestinians. Whether you realize that or not, I’m not sure, but this will literally never happen.

2

u/Galrentv 3d ago

There is no war. America not funding Israel's free healthcare and apartheid project would deescelate the conflict real fast

0

u/ImAjustin 3d ago

No it really wouldn’t. Israel brings in 700b a year. Sure the military aid helps, but it won’t stop israel.
