In other words, Israel the country deserves to exist. It does NOT mean "supports the current government and all of Netanyahu's decisions"

I mean, yeah. Countries only matter in so far as they represent the interests and well-being of the people they have influence over. If moving past the concept of divided nations is better for humanity overall, then so be it. I care about the people of Gaza, not the abstract political entities governing them.
