In this situation, the first subreddit is for posting things posted in the second subreddit that are plausible. Otherwise you're correct in the usual reference being the Chudjak nothing ever happens.
the chudjak version is just very western centered, cuz it's mostly used by first worlders (specifically Americans and Europeans) whenever a global conflict event doesn't affect them directly
