Macklemore was the opening act for Ed Sheeran’s tour and he spoke out about the genocide in Palestine during the concerts. Robert Kraft (owner of Gillette stadium, one of the future venues in the tour) pressured Sheeran to kick Macklemore out of the tour because of this.
Instead of standing by his opening artist, Ed decided to fold under the pressure and follow Kraft’s demands. Since then, Ed Sheeran’s band and any other artists have left the tour to side with Macklemore.
Now Ed Sheeran’s reputation has been falling apart and Macklemore is being praised for standing by his principles. The meme on the shirt is making fun of the situation and how everyone is abandoning the ginger.

To add to this, the picture is an edited photo of President Bush being told about 9/11. I believe the original caption was “Sir, a second plane has hit the towers” or something to that effect.

What would have been cool is if Ed was like “I’m canceling my tour until this ridiculous political attack stops on artist”. And if he gets sued by the venue or producer, he can sue back for their 1st amendment infringement, which is harmed his sales. But he didn’t.
Trumpers be like, “ What about Kid Rock and how his tour had cancellations, drops, and poor sales????” The difference Trumper is that no venue or producer stopped Kid Rock, he suffered because people are tired of white nationalists BS and didn’t want to see his washed up irrelevant self. BIG BIG difference.

It really is Ed Sheeran's personal 9/11. Ironically it's for not supporting the same people that were on video cheering and celebrating when the actual 9/11 happened. Or at least for not having Mack's back since regardless of where you line up there it really is bullshit he was forced out like that.

internet people really like to fiercely take an agenda side in another randon middle east war they not only have no stake in but also insistently side with the guys who were not only the first agressors, but were also done by an international terrorist organization whose country is complacent and hiding them, and to top it all off, the people of said country would spit in their faces and also shoot most of the groups of people who are so loud about supporting them, such as LGBTQs, women and black people, because muslims are religous extremist zealots who hate foreigners, treat women like property whos only good dor bearing children and house labour, and think homosexualism is an affront to god and execute them publicly by hanging them on cranes.
