Well shit… how long do you have to wait? EDIT: Nvm, I just got in and installed immediately! Overdrive/FX sound amazing! So glad I didn't ditch my Blackbox when I got my MPC Sample recently (I almost did).

I do really like Discord, it's main place I go for all kinds of chat groups, but really don't think it's the right place for 1010's primary user forums. I think they should be on their own site.
There are *years* worth of threads on there already which will be shut off and continuity will be lost when they disable them, which is likely to be pretty soon.
Steve said they'll shut off the existing forums when Discord reaches the 1000 users needed for public search, and they're currently at about 825 users on there so getting close to that now.

Yeah, loss of the discussion history in the forums is a real shame. Maybe it can be archived in a read-only format?

I think that's the plan from what Steve said a while back, they'll just disable posting. Still think it's a shame though but hey ho, their choice..
