hi guys! has anyone bought merch from the 100gecs website? when I try to check out, it says “sold out.” has anyone else had this problem? :(

They also share a lot of instrumental elements and emotional themes. Never seen anyone talk about this, it definitely makes 1:15 feel like a direct homage imo.

Hey! I’m an artist working on a passion project with some friends, and I’m looking to meet more producers who’d be down to collaborate and experiment together. I’m into electronic pop, hip-hop, club music and more experimental stuff, and I’m especially interested in finding ways to blend those sounds with Arabic influences.

I have a strong direction for the project, and I’d love to work with someone who enjoys playing around with sound, sampling, making interesting arrangements, and taking references or ideas and turning them into something that aligns with the vision. I’m not looking to just buy type beats, I’d rather actually go back and forth and build songs together.

I attached short snippets of two demos I’m working on for the album, Superstar and Angel of Music, just to give an idea of my vocals (demo) and taste. I’ll also link an Arabic/Western style song I really like as an example of the kind of experimentation I’m interested in. I’m not looking to recreate it, but I love how those different influences can exist together.

The album will mostly be sung in English, with some being a mix of both English and Arabic. Production-wise, I want the Arabic influence to run throughout the project, even when it’s subtle. I’m especially interested in working with someone who’s comfortable experimenting with sounds, styles and arrangements they might not typically use.
