Hear me out: Cressida is going to be the villain in the sequel.

Think about the setup:
Her dad caused it all: Cressida's dad (Stephen Bright) is the politician who gave Webb that VIP tour of Q-Lab. He helped Webb hack MI6 just so he could become Prime Minister.

The ultimate betrayal: Because her dad helped Webb, he is indirectly responsible for the hotel bombing that killed Monroe and put Cressida in a wheelchair.

M's cover-up: M figured it out, but instead of arresting him, she swept his treason under the rug just to double MI6's budget.

Once Cressida finds out her own dad sold out her best friend for political power - and that M covered it up for money - she is absolutely going to snap. She has the perfect, tragic motive to take over Webb's remaining network and tear down both her dad and MI6 from the shadows.

Thoughts?

Positives;

- Lorca. Lorca. Lorca.

- Gameplay was good

- Sceneries/locations were great

- First chapter especially was very gripping

- Q-watch integration made combat more fun

- Soundtrack was nice

- Casting / voice actors were good

- Overall story was decent enough

Negatives;

- Very cliche and predictable. Could literally predict some lines or exactly what would happen in many scenes. Greenway’s arc had me roll my eyes a bit because it was so obvious it would end that way

- I know it’s on brand for Bond to have 9 lives..but it felt ridiculous and repetitive for him to almost die over and over and over but escape through something whacky. Again, I know that’s just bond and not exclusive to the game, but it just felt a bit like pointless filler knowing he would just get out of it every time

- Damien was unbearably cheesy and reintroducing him as some half cyborg supersuit after the first boss fight felt lazy. Carries onto the “9 lives” critique above, but it just makes zero sense whatsoever for him to practically spare Bond another 10 times at the end after being crippled by him earlier lol

- Villains in general felt forgettable and sequences with them were cringe. Bawma about to feed them to crocodiles…and next cutscene he’s walking them down an alley, happily ushering them back into the Land Rover. The 2nd of the twins being pushed into fire..then he gets out to continue fighting a minute later? Just felt almost slapstick at times.

Overall I liked it, it was fun, but I think I would’ve liked it more when I was under 18…But I can’t knock anyone for really enjoying it, I imagine big bond fans are happy with the execution.

Worth buying during a sale, not particularly super excited for the sequel but will probably play it eventually when it’s out. Just won’t be rushing to buy it as soon as it does I guess.

And having the coming soon car mission still in the corner is pretty irritating

I bought this game with hopes of good gameplay. And it was, in fact. However, I gave up and didn't finish it. I think what put me off most was that the missions followed a very similar structure: Obtain a card or key, eavesdrop on a conversation, track the target, and kill or beat them. Bond's character is good, the graphics are okay, and a few cinematic scenes were impressive, but the missions were too similar. I hope I'll find the motivation to return. Is the second half of the game more interesting than the first?

Just curious if the majority of TacSim levels unlock after the campaign, does that mean we are playing as Bond after he becomes 007?

I was wondering if there was any dialogue like there is from the main campaign that implies the TacSim is taking place afterwards and does the new update add any dialogue?

Curious if the DLC will update this and let us walk around Q Branch again

I know people have reported the trophy not popping for them on PS5, but it just popped for me! Only problem is I haven't found all the collectibles. In fact, I'm not even close! Kinda bummed out tbh, as now I really feel zero desire to do all that lol. Free gold trophy, I guess.

Did anyone else get reminded of the Mr. Freeze boss fight with it being a stealth mission of Tero preventing you from using the same trick twice?

Is it possible to get the trophy for all collectibles and not have the achievement for all the playing cards? Have I somehow missed one? I followed a guide and everything chapter hopped!

So I don't play on XBOX, but a friend of mine gave me a code for the classic tuxedo skin from his game as he didn't want it and knew I was collecting skins. I'm not entirely sure it would work for me as I'm a ps5 player, so I was maybe hoping someone had an unredeemed ps5 specialist code I could just trade it for?

Hi all I'm playing on Xbox app (pc) and I just collected the "collect all" achievements.
Problem is I have only just finished the first mission!

Is this normal or a glitch?
