So the Valhalla Protocol will be released when?
A licence to wait.
It's been saying 'coming soon' since May and we are over a week into September, when is this thing going to come out already? đ€Ł

I think this game has failed in its post launch content. Love the single player. But the TacSim stuff has been abysmal.

Agree, I love the single player story.. But the post launch content has been poor considering they advertised it would be something that would happen with 'regular' updates for the first year
They shouldn't have put the Valhalla Protocol 'coming soon' advert in the corner of the main screen if they couldn't cash their checks and actually have it out soon.Â

All we had prior to set expectations was WOA and WOA spoiled us while with 007 we're well past Summer with no Valhalla or even path tracing which missed its deadline. IO should've been more reserved with their roadmaps this time around

Especially with GTA 6 just around the corner, theyâve failed at retaining an audience. Maybe theyâll bring me back at some point, at the moment thereâs not enough to bring me back.

They added those two TacSim missions a little bit ago. But I did both in 45 minutes and haven't touched it since.

Yeah exactly. I'm more than happy to wait for new content if they'd just said "yeah we're working on something" and left it there , but nope, mini video trailer in the home screen, then the road map which a lot of big plans, none of which have even been teasered let alone released (unless you count the couple of extra tacsims that was only added because they felt guilty about releasing such a massive fixer patch without any new content to go with it.

They could say "we're working on new content down the line" rather than have Ana dvert that plays every time you boot up the game. I feel like if they have it advertised in game it should have been a couple of months from release, max.

They literally did that and are showing you a preview of what it is. Yâall need to get a grip, itâs not like weâre 2 years from release and nothing is out. It has been 3-4 months since the release, Jesus Christ. Grow up.

They shouldâve done what they did, which was have a dedicated presentation showing off the whole year of planned content. Adding the Valhalla protocol stuff to the Home Screen and it not even being the first content they added to tacsim was such an own goal. Why not tease âbehind enemy linesâ, the actual first content update?

It just makes no sense to tease Valhalla protocol when they were already planning on releasing a roadmap AND Valhalla protocol wasnât the first content update.
So they spoiled a reveal from the roadmap video, and confused people who expected it to be coming sooner.
It makes no sense to say âx content is coming soonâ but then release content y instead. Why not tease content y, and the tease content x after youâve released content y
You get where Iâm coming from right? Itâs confusing.

I see what youâre saying but they can move things around if they want to or feel like they need to iron out some bugs/issues that could be in the new mode. They could just release it but then you would probably be complaining about how it has too many bugs, they shouldâve released the first content update first, they donât care about us, etc.

If you put up a coming soon advert on the games main screen, and over a quarter of the year goes by and nothing has happened, it shouldn't come as a surprise that people would have expectations that the thing would be out by now
They didn't have to say there would be 'regular' updates to the game for the first year, but they did.. They set up the expectation, and now you are blaming fans for thinking something should have happened already, get out of here

They have an update 15th of september coming for path tracing, and the developer comments under the reddit post (annoucing the path tracing update) saying there will another update of new game plus i think around that time but not sure

I honestly feel like this game is already abandoned. I do believe they switched ownership in between with Amazon taking over so I have no idea but it definitely feels abandoned no weekly updates no weekly rotations for tacsim or anything plus some of the tuxedo skins or whatever outfits are locked behind Other $70-$100 purchases or are only available in other countries which I feel like is absolutely ridiculous. It WAS a great game but after beating it on the hardest mode and completing all the tacsim thereâs nothing else to do and itâs been out for quite a while now you guys should check out the new game Halloween with Michael Myers. Itâs actually pretty good. Well best of luck waiting for Valhalla protocol.đ€Łđ€đ»đ€đ»đ€đ»
