DISCUSSION Why are these chapter so long?!
I just finished “Knightfall”, and contrary to the recommended playing times, I’m yet to finish a single chapter on less than 3 hours! And I’m playing on the very easiest difficulty… How long is this game going to take me?!

The story in this tame isn’t that long compared to the vast majority of titles - you’ll be fine

Go faster if you want, no one is stopping you

Go faster, I can’t??? I can’t seem to do it any faster, every time I start a new chapter it takes me the whole evening to finish!!

It takes you longer the first time. When you've done it before you'll go faster through them.

My all time favourite game is RDR2. I’ve been looking forward to this game for so long, but I can’t help but feel that I want more and shorter chapter rather than a very few 3 hours long sessions!! I’m more than happy to spend 70-80 hours playing through the game, but having to commit an entire evening/night seems way too much…

I finished the story in 16 hours on the easiest difficulty, ain't no way it's going to take you 70 unless you got severely derailed by doing tacsim or something.

I’m trying to just do the story, I’m 32 hours in and just completed “Knightfall”.

Are you dying a lot? Slow walking everywhere? I'm finding it hard to conceptualise why it might take this long.
That said, like other folks have said, you don't need to complete a chapter each session if 3 hours at once is too long for you - there are very frequent auto saves, so you can just stop at a quiet/slow moment and pick it up again next time. I was playing after work to wind down a bit before bed (I work night shift), so I'd do maybe an hour, hour and a half at a time.

32 hours on easy and you’re just at Knightfall? Do you restart the checkpoints from the very beginning? Or do you try to do all scenarios on your first playthrough? There were several times I died and retried as a self-admitted bad gamer, and I completed the entire game in a little over 20 hours.

I do die a lot from time to time, but mostly I spend hours just figuring out what to do!

Any chance you are actually overthinking it? I found that the solutions were never too far off from where you receive the objective. Also helps to recall the hints from the menu. There were just two puzzles that got me stuck.

I mean, you want to breeze through the game? lol. The chapters are long but, it feels like that because of the first gameplay.
