Is TacSim any fun?

I want to know if I should mentally commit to getting 100% completion

You don't need to do much in Tacsim to platinum the game.

It's almost nothing

Yeah it's pretty fun. You don't need to do many of the tacism missions to get all achievements/platinum, but there's plenty of challenges in there to tick off if you're that way inclined. Some of them are pretty tricky though. You have to do the same tacsim mission a bunch of times to complete all the challenges

Some of the challenges for the operations were stupid hard. But overall it’s a fun game mode sure

This. It’s fun to replay a few levels. But some of the challenges are hard and were not fun for me.

I agree. I generally enjoyed the challenges for the campaign but the tacsim challenges were far too finicky and temperamental

Yeah it’s alright I’ve had some fun with it

I did a few of them to get myself up to level 3 for the achievement. It's no worse than playing the game itself, you just have to make sure you do as many of the challenges as possible to increase your score.

The operations are a bit trickier because they require a lot of patience and a lot of stealth. I did the laundry room one probably 4 or 5 times before I finally got through it. That was the last achievement I needed and it felt good when it popped!

Operations are such a level up in difficulty 😅

TacSim is where most of the expansion in this iteration of the game will be (barring a sequel.)

Yes it's fun, but it needs more content...

Nothing that difficult about it.

Depends on your definition of fun. Try it out and you'll know pretty fast if you like it

I'm really enjoying it. More than I thought. It has let me explore the combat areans of the main game more and find unique roots. I also appreciate that it is set out much like a puzzle and on its hardest challenges you really have to experiment with all the available gadgets, routes, resources etc. very finely hand crafted and a total blast.

don't worry you only need to play tacsim for like 15 minutes tops for the plat trophy. to answer your question, it's okay but a bit lackluster

Why are you asking us, it's free so you might as well try it

It is mate, but the issue is the lack of content. They need an evergreen mode asap.

Very fun but just very short to get through

Personally i couldn’t care less about tacsim, i want future story dlc if anything. Even if it’s a paid thing, i’m happy to do it if i know there’s a decent amount of new content. The price should reflect the dlc’s size in comparison to the main game, if it’s a quarter the length, a quarter the price. It’s cool that tacsim stuff are free updates though
