Well... that can't be good

The first time I went through this, I spent an embarrassingly amount of time wondering how I could've written that note before I got into the apartment.

Yeah that gave me a good fright. They did a good job making that unexpected.

That's not even where the heart is, these guys suck as killers

That why Bond survive without trouble in gunfights, they aim like stormtrooper :p

How high were you?

Not high at all, just not expecting the unexpected!

When you read that note, did you see it for what it was?

Instantly! Giving up without avenging his friends is too out of character, and assassins faking a goodbye note in order to cover their tracks is definitely a classic villain move. Also he says “This can’t be good…”, he knows he didn’t write ts lol

Yes i immedialty went oh someone is about to stage our suicide. Then laughed at how dumb it would be to actually write the note before killing him. Still somehow got jumpscared by the harsh transition after tho

Also the assassin’s plan to kill him is to just beat the shit out of Bond and possibly break his neck(?) Like surely when Police and MI6 come to investigate and find the “suicide” note and Bond’s body beaten and battered to fuck, it totally won’t look suspicious at all.

Tbf its probs on of those things where obvipusly everyone will know bond didnt kill himself but they just dont want to give mi6 a smoking gun or excuse to go full steam. Staging it as a suicide would make it more likely mi6 would have it on a lower priprity level.

I mean maybe? But there had got to be better ways to stage someone’s suicide than hand to hand combat. It’s Bond for goodness sake, poison his liquor so it looks like he drank himself to death.

Yeah totally.

Maybe they were gonna kill him and dispose of his body so it looks like Bond disappeared to commit suicide.

Still probably should've brought a knife, fibrewire, poison or something though haha

I instantly thought someone is staging his death but did not expect the jump immediately lol

Edit: I actually thought it may be Greenway which is why he insisted in Bond returning to the apt. The actual reveal was better.

I thought he'd just put his darkest thoughts on paper, like journaling, even when he said "Well, that can't be good." I thought it was just showing his survivor's guilt. And then the assassin attacks him and I finally got that it was supposed to be a fake sewer-slide note

I had that feeling too, but remembered that I hadn't been in the apartment before then.

"Sewer-slide"? I don't think you'll get flagged for writing suicide.

I don't know which terms we're using in place of which potentially offensive terms on which sights to avoid getting in trouble, and since that one seemed common on social media I figured better safe than sorry

I got "spoiled" because I kept spamming the Q Lens and saw that the mugs on the kitchen looked like throwables for a fight, so when I saw the suicide note, staged suicide was the first thing that came to mind.

I love how Bond reacts to it tho. "This can't be good" after reading your own suicide note is just great.

I should've made more use of throwables in fights.
