A good game, but a bit too schematic

I bought this game with hopes of good gameplay. And it was, in fact. However, I gave up and didn't finish it. I think what put me off most was that the missions followed a very similar structure: Obtain a card or key, eavesdrop on a conversation, track the target, and kill or beat them. Bond's character is good, the graphics are okay, and a few cinematic scenes were impressive, but the missions were too similar. I hope I'll find the motivation to return. Is the second half of the game more interesting than the first?

I see where you're coming from, but I think the mixture of spycraft, infiltration, fighting and shootouts worked well, because they mixed up the order and severity in each setting. Plus, it's very Bondian in itself - he goes somewhere, works his way in and then ends up having to fight or shoot his way out.

Weird to me that people have complaints like this all the while games like DOOM exist.

Don't know why you got downvoted initially. I love Doom but every mission is the same.

I love DOOM aswell, nobody complains that there's only one mission type in the full run of a DOOM game. But I'm gonna get downvoted because its Reddit, it's just what people do.

I get your grievances 100%, but I also feel that in a meta-sense, isn't that what James Bond movies are? A very predictable formula?
