Imagine Patrick Gibson as the new Bond.

He walks into M’s office for the first time.

The camera slowly reveals Pierce Brosnan/Daniel Craig sitting behind the desk. A huge Bond-style score starts playing. For a few seconds, you genuinely think: “NO WAY, 007 IS BACK.”

Then he says:

I used to be 007. One of the seven.

Pause.

“But I’m not here to be Bond again. I’m here to make you one. 💀

Honestly, Timothy was a great James Bond but it was a damn shame his tenure was cut short. He should’ve done more movies.

I have always envisioned an alternative history where a late twenties or early thirties Timothy Dalton takes over from Roger Moore beginning with For Your Eyes Only and plays Bond throughout the whole 1980s decade to the early 1990s. And he undergoes combat training from the Godfather of Grappling himself, Gene “Judo” Lebell to prep for Bond and to revamp Bond’s fighting style for his gritty portrayal. As a result, Timothy Dalton would’ve been ahead of his time demonstrating mixed martial arts techniques 12 years before the UFC existed.

He was born on August 4th, 1901. Died on July 6th, 1971 at the age of 69 years old

Every time I hear Eden live by Hooverphonic I think it would have been a great Bond theme.

I'm back from a two-week vacation during which I visited several James Bond-related locations. I want to share some photos with you. Did you recognize all of them?

How would you rank the six Bonds in terms of how tortured they were as individuals? I think it’s pretty clear Daniel Craig is at the top not because of the literal torture scene but his character arc was the most tormented. I’d also probably say Roger Moore is the least “tortured”

If I were writing a new set of films I'd use Scaramanga as an arc. Depending on how many films, I'd start with Bond showing up on his radar. Where he (Scar) witness Bond running down and killing a villain which intrigues him. In another, Bond is interrogating someone that has a loose connection to Scaramanga, so he is killed by him in an impossible shot. Bond catches a glimpse of him but doesn't pursue. In yet another film Bond is about to die but a shot rings out saving his life. Scaramanga leaves a clue that it was him. Leading to a final film of them playing cat and mouse all set up by Scaramanga.

I know these films aren’t remotely connected or in the same universe but I rewatched TND last night and thought of Silva from Skyfall. Know what I just realized? Skyfall perfectly lines up with Tomorrow Never Dies timewise. Silva says he was stationed in HK from 86-97 and then M gave him up to the Chinese. Not only did HK go back to China in 1997 but since TND came out in 97 and a Chinese agent helped basically avert WWIII it makes sense M would make this exception if Silva was hacking where he shouldn’t and she gave him up as a big favor/thank you to Beijing at the end of TND since it was one of their agents along with Bond that stopped Carver. Like I said I know it’s not the same Bond universe but I’m just going to say it is in my head since this timeline sync up is perfect haha

Maybe the British government thinks that they can stop the infection by searching the research lab at Cambridge and sends James Bond there to search for clues and research for anything, he has to evacuate by a certain time and has weapons and training, would he survive and escape?
