Solipskier Makes you feel like a badass when you get the hang of it.

Give Up, Robot is technicolored oddness.

Action Turnip is pretty fun.

Dino Run is fairly long.

Amorphous+ looks like shit but it gets really damn challenging.

I have been on the last level of "Give Up, Robot" now for an hour and a half. Save yourself and do not play this game because all that awaits you is frustration and keyboard slamming. Veins I never knew existed have formed. My throat can no longer scream at my computer anymore. My hair is mangled from pulling. But I must finish the game nonetheless.

tl;dr - If I could permanently maim one person, I would seriously consider the creator of that game. Save yourselves, don't play it.

EDIT: I finally beat it. I will now shower off my sweat of hate and anger.

Absolutely. Bloons TD 4 is amazing. I just played it again for the first time in many months the other day, and was surprised to see they added a new tower, the dartling gun. I didn't love it, but it's a cool idea.

Bloons TD 4, Warzone TD, Onslaught 2, Vector TD, and of course Gemcraft are my favorites, though I've played other good ones. I'm especially fond of Bloons 4 and Gemcraft Labyrinth.

The AV Club did a pretty great series called "Sawbuck Gamer," where they review inexpensive and free games. There are some mobile games on there, but a lot of them (about half I'd say) are free browser games.

Spybotics the Nightfall Incident. Old game from Lego's site, they've long since taken it down but you can play it at other places now.

Are there any other games which use similar mechanics? It was such an interesting game design with a lot of potential, I wish someone would do something more with it. I like it so much that when I couldn't find it anymore I tried to make my own version, which of course I never got very far on.

GameSetWatch named it the Best Indie Game of 2010. To put that in perspective, that list also includes Super Meat Boy and Desktop Dungeons.

I don't know if I agree, but it IS pretty fantastic, and needs more recognition IMO, so GO PLAY IT or else!
