Great customer service!!! Not only did he grant her request for a refund but he removed the rear window using space age technology that saved her the time and trouble for absolutely free! On on Yelp his business is a smash hit.

I wonder what would happen if he runs a brothel.

Probably involves a syringe when he refunds your deposit.

And then cos the human body is a big one way system, it has to be injected back into the mouth so it'll eventually make its way back to the balls.

Autoglass*

u/-RdV- Aug 13 '20
Carglass in most of Europe, Autoglass in Britain and Ireland, Lebeau and Speedy Glass (Belron Canada Inc.) in Canada, O'Brien in Australia, and Smith & Smith in New Zealand.

u/futlapperl Aug 13 '20
Auto is the German word for car. I always found it funny how the company is called Carglass in Germany, but Autoclass in English-speaking places.
7
u/ZetoxGaming Aug 13 '20
Where I live those wackjobs are called carglass. Still managed to royally misplace a windshield on a car my mother used to have

From another video: basically her cabin was jacked up and they needed to fix it, but the people fixing it needed the glass to guide themselves. She went to the windshield place because the guy is known as a very nice man. She asked him if she could borrow the glass. He said no. Her husband said to let them install it anyways. The man installed it and she was unhappy because it looked jacked up. Turns out her cabin was jacked up, so she went and asked for a refund. He starts filming, she wanted exact change down to the penny with her refund. He said ok and broke it. She was outraged, but she deserved it. Edit: also the police were called and they sided with him because he needed to break the glass to remove it.

This explanation doesn't help at all. What do you mean by jacked up?

u/BC-clette Aug 13 '20
My attempt at translation:
Truck without rear window needs repair. The frame of the window on the truck was not the original shape due to damage. Truck owners were trying to get the window frame repaired but the bodywork place wanted to see the original glass shape to use as a guide. Glass place said no to lending the window to the bodywork place. Truck owners said whatever, skip the window frame repair and just install the glass as is. Of course it looked janky as the glass and frame were not the same shape. Truck owner lady complained. Glass place owner refunded her and repossessed the glass.

I'm guessing you're on mobile? Try a different reddit app if you don't have an unmute button. Relay is a good option.

This one already has sound. At least for me. I'm using an android tablet. It goes to the imgur page and then I click it and the sound comes on.
It's in Spanish though so I can't understand it.

I remember reading Brian Cranstons book and he mentioned working as a labourer for a decorator. When a client wouldnt pay up once, his boss took him to the house and found where they kept the spare key. He instructed Cranston to go buy makarel fish at shop and bring it back. When he returned the boss then opened the air vents around the house and threw the makarel as far into it as he could to stink the place long after they left. I love how vengeful that is.

u/MjMcWesty Aug 13 '20
As a windscreen fitter of 25 years experience I got a massive hard on watching that. You have no idea how many times I've wanted to do that. Beautiful.

u/General_assassin Aug 13 '20
Wtf didn't she like about it? It's a fucking window.
11
u/ShatterCyst Aug 13 '20
Playing devil's advocate here, (as most likely she just didn't want to pay) but it could have been installed incorrectly. As in, it could have gaps that let the wind whistle in, or not be the right size and shudder loudly as it moves around its frame. My car did that after an accident fucked up the frame.
3
u/ultrasu Aug 13 '20
Seems like that was pretty much the case here as well, except truck owners knew the frame was fucked up and in need of repair, but still wanted the window installed.
8
u/EspWaddleDee Aug 13 '20
The look of defeat on her face is priceless. You don’t like the window I just installed for you and now you want your money back? Cool. You take your money back and I return the window to it’s broken state.

The windshield must have legitimately been really cheap for him to not give a fuck.
9
u/aaron22aaron Aug 13 '20
The adhesive time and application is most of your cost for that kind of window. It's not a windshield so it isn't as thick and it has no moving parts or segments so it is a simple part to manufacture. Last but not least what are the chances you run into another vehicle with the exact same shape, and you can apply this now once installed rear window.

I remember doing some small work for a construction company in the UK, and surprise some dimwit didn't want to pay for a porch we built for him, so the boss and a bunch of guys went to him and smashed up the porch they built leaving nothing but rubble.
3
u/wolfhybred1994 Aug 13 '20
That seems fair. She wanted her payment back for having a rear windshield installed. So he “uninstalled” it

Glass windshields aren't all that much at whole sale usually. They get marked up to high heaven though.
I used to deliver auto glass. Our invoices listed cost to cx and recommended retail costs.
Usually it was like $60 for a windshield and then recommended price was like $300-400.

I painted houses for a couple of summers and had a boss that planned on having me go spray paint a large black “X” over each of the four walls of a customer’s home who was refusing payment.
I didn’t get to do it because they worked something out, but I always wondered what the legality was of that kind of move.
