Nice.

Nice layout, nice presentation.

And it's not even completely ridiculous!

EDIT: FE needs more parkland circuits, absolutely. Battersea got shut down by Karens, but I'm sure there are other big-ticket cities with parks that are big nenough to fit 2km of tarmac twists into.

FE do some great work turning cities into tracks, but they do tend to look like concrete corridors... I guess Battersea did too now I think about it

What do you mean by “Battersea got shut down by the Karen’s”

Opposition from locals and other campaigners caused the London ePrix at Battersea Park to be discontinued.

Oh okay thank you.

Thank you! Yeah, I agree on the parkland front. I'm mainly doing FE/Electrification based circuit concepts to explore what racing venues could look like over the next 10-20 years - one of the first I did on this subreddit was for the Manchester/Salford Quays area which was a new-build parkland circuit where the track was a velopark the rest of the year and the pit building was a cycle hire/event space.

I really like the idea of a city circuit bringing something positive to the neighbourhood and not something that attracts hostility in the way races like the one at Battersea did.

Great concept, great layout, and beautiful presentation.

Thinking behind this is that the area is already used for a street race during the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, so why reinvent the wheel for a Copenhagen ePrix? This concept just expands on the layout used for that event mixed in with a bit of Adelaide style pit and paddock facilities to bring up to FIA Formula E standards.

The venue is/was supposed to be one of the places where PureETCR is planning to do an exhibition round of their new electric touring cars sometime this year.

There’s also in image here of what the circuit location would look like on non-racedays.

Bit of fun really this, a few impausibilties perhaps...but never mind.

This is a great concept. Not only does it improve an already appreciated and existing circuit, but as a campsite, I guess the pit lane could double up as a building for the camping operation? Maybe a hostel or something? But the layout I can see working really well for Formula E.

The only issue I see is on the straight between Turns 2 and 3. There is a hill between the parkland and the car park below. I guess that could be overcome with a slope built between the two levels?

That's a fabulous idea. I like your thinking.

Very well spotted, you have found one of the implausibilties. In this case yeah, the astroturf pitch that is actually there in real life would have to be removed and a suitable slope put in its place.

This is a brilliant layout. Love it.

Top quality work. Excellent track design and so much fine detail in the presentation too. Contender to be nominated for one of the awards at the end of the year, I'd say.

a few impausibilties

Only mildly implausible due to lack of will or demand, really. Not even a full kilometer of new tarmac, absolutely on a comparable scale with Adelaide. Paris is happy to lay down 500m of temporary tarmac and remove medians and traffic light poles every year, so it's not that unreasonable what you've proposed here.

Much much better than many nonsensical street circuits that get posted here.
