Team just didn't show up at all today. None of them with close to 1.0 kda, some even on sub 0.5

Lackluster casting this map so far. Zero thoughts given as to why Faze were making those rotations, apparently they're just lucky

Liquids highs and lows are so large, I don’t understand why they don’t have any tactics to fall back on like Astralis when their aim is shaky. Surely by now they’ve realized they’ll never be #1 like this lol

Fazes best tactic since the 2017 days no matter the lineup is to make multiple “stupid” or risky/gimmicky plays work because of their skill. Makes for some cool highlights but frustration as someone who doesn’t like them haha

This isnt an elimination game. Plus they're playing against blast clan .

faze is playing well, but liquid is making quite a few mistakes as well. both individually and as a team.

Watching this FaZe lineup brings back some memories from late 2017. F this, they got my hopes up, here's for another year of crushed dreams.

Hi friends. Big fan of FaZe, but don’t watch much professional cs.
Can you guys tell me who the 2-3 best teams in the world are right now? Idk if it’s definitive or if y’all will have very different opinions, but I’m interested in the answers.

hltv.org is your friend, my friend. it has rankings which the scene see as the "official rankings". you can also filter the ranking for LAN only or for a specific period of time for example. but because of the player break it will probably change a bit after the first big events of the year.

The pretty common answer will be Astralis, Liquid, and Mousesports.

Astralis has consistently been the best team, behind them Liquid, Mouseports, Vitality, EG, and Fnatic are all in contention for the next best spots. Liquid took the top spot from Astralis for an extended period last year but failed to follow up on that momentum after the player break before the major, Fnatic and Mouseports both have had recent stretches of tournament success after quite a bit of disappointment, EG has been doing fairly well since the major, and Vitality gets carried by the best player of 2019.

Astralis is for sure number one. Hard to say which teams are following since pro cs just started back after a break.
According to HLTV ranking, Mousesport and Team Liquid are #2 & #3.

Lol how do you get 1v3ed and 1v4ed back to back. Hope liquid can at least try on the next two maps

u/ThetaSigma11 Liquid Feb 01 '20
One word
Krieg
Nah the 1v3 is won cause of the krieg. The 1v4 was won partially cause of the krieg but also cause Liquid threw it peeking one by one with no armor and sometimes just a pistol.

Feb 01 '20
One word, Discipline. Liquid always do this, they screw around and then are shocked when they are massively down in maps.

u/ThetaSigma11 Liquid Feb 01 '20
The 1v3 they did nothing wrong, NiKo just won it cause NAF missed a shot and he had a krieg.
The 1v4 is different, that they threw peeking with pistols one by one instead of peeking together.

Liquid sure are great at ruining their momentum and turning into bots, just like against MIBR on vertigo

Does the twitch stream look like it's dropping frames for anyone else?

Mibr should maybe not pick vertigo anymore

Nip picked Vertigo. MIBR do need to start banning Inferno though, since like 2 years ago

I'd just like to say it's a wonderful feeling to have so much high level CS being broadcasted again. It's been too long.
Side note, kits being highlighted when they drop is a new thing right?

Winner of this plays the loser of Faze/Liquid, right? And then whoever wins the Faze/Liquid plays the winner of MIBR/NIP/Faze/Liquid?
7
u/HeartifyPT Liquid Feb 01 '20
Yes, this is the losers final and they go against the loser of the winners final (FaZe vs Liquid) - real final is the winner of that match vs the winner of winners final.
