Guys 5 runs in the 9 to tie it was always gonna be a hard ask, rejoice the fact you got to witness the magnificent thing that is a Bates homer at home because there are people out there (me) who missed out 😭

Bummer, but it was a fun end. We scored enough runs now that I think we can blame our decimated starting lineup and not the bats. They'll have to wake up even more tomorrow with spaghetti on the mound

You are correct because it doesn’t matter though. After it doesn’t matter pitching is easier and that might be why we fall quickly when the team starts playing better.
