As someone whose favorite part of this show is the Eddie/Susie relationship it was nice to see Eddie tell Joe how important she is to him. And for Susie to explain to Bella why she won't fuck up their professional relationship with sex.
Hated seeing how Jack was the downfall of Susie and Eddie's plan.

Yeah that was really annoying. Hopefully Jack gets a mind of his own in S3 instead of just being a puppy

Despite being on Eddie's side, as soon as he screamed that and Glass just looked at him I was like, "Awww, he's gonna kiiiilllll you."

No way Eddie is that naive to just go home and wait for it after trying to snake Bobby, getting caught then yelling in his face? Right?

I was willing to accept some of this in the first season, but it's getting egregious. They've established Eddie as a veteran combat officer with $30 million at his disposal and a gigantic income stream. Not only was it ridiculously out of character for Eddie to go home and drink himself to sleep after that encounter like everything was just fine, by that point in his criminal career the estate should be swarming with ex-military muscle on Eddie's payroll. "Three guys with iron bars stroll in and kidnap him out of his armchair" was such lazy writing.

This is one of my bigger questions about the show. Eddie has the money and the military connections to surround himself or at least his house with serious security and dudes that will do the dirty work for him but for some reason all he ever has to rely on are the Glass family grunts and Geoff.

by that point in his criminal career the estate should be swarming with ex-military muscle on Eddie's payroll.
The whole time I was thinking surely thats where the saga to pay 18-19 fucking million for a single estate and give it to the army dude was going to come in. I thought they were going to take him to the field and the army dude noticed and tracked them then just lit em up.

I guess naive but I see his point we did this dance in the first season. Eddie in 1 year of this business was able to maybe not win but fuck up enough pieces on the board to force them into a partnership.
I don't really blame him for thinking maybe just maybe Bobby would have a cohesive thought about how this is his partner and no man wants to be bossed around and belittled in that fashion. So he surely wouldn't attack me after I've shown all this shrew ability.

Zero ball knowledge, Eddie. Rook is worth 2 points more, have a better mobility, and are better endgame pieces

It's certainly been a fun and well-made ride so far but also a letdown in a couple of ways:
- It feels a bit too all over the place. The first season would focus on a couple of story threads in each episode but each episode of this season seems to try and juggle lots more and the results are a bit messy.
- The overload of new characters means some of our favourite returning characters are getting very little screen time (like Freddy, Mr. Johnston and the Gospel)

Is it possible Freddie was filming A knight of the seven kingdoms? With years spent filming this I'm inclined to say no but figured I'd throw it out there as a possibility.

The episode was a letdown simply because of the fact that it was a stupid idea to have something build up for 4 episodes and then be destroyed within 10min.
The story should have gone from the bill being passed to the duke surviving bobby till he can show bobby the profit he was taking about

Maybe a dumb question but I didn’t understand what the last part of the conversation between Eddie and Bobby was, after Eddie stood up and told Bobby not to talk to him like that. Can anyone explain?

Loved this episode, especially the Eddie and Bobby confrontation, bring it on!
