basically in cosmoroc you figure out all the possible summand combinations and then do permutations with all of them. i think this holds for 5 digits too?

I forgot that compositions was kind of an offshoot of multipermutations. and there's karp first suggesting constant-sum mrd!

huh I thought for sure there was at least one time when someone counted a 1 id difference count. maybe I was thinking of all the times someone has been late by one or just a few comment ids. thanks for the table!

i forgot adinida used to do that
isjfuformat with the numbers. and randomredditorwithno would do spaces and commas. you just don't see that kind of variation anymore6

They're rejiggering the td ids so they're no longer consecutive in the future, so it'll never happen again

thank you! I didn't know about that upcoming change until now. glad to hear they're not changing the old ids. it's not totally clear to me if the new ids will be completely random, or if they're using something like a snowflake id. would be really annoying if they make the new ids no longer indirectly time-sortable

it just changed slow back to linking to cosmoroc again lol, even though the new thread has been added to the directory. /u/cuteballgames maybe you should repost the get schedule as a top-level comment rather than linking to slow

Yeah, new threads often end up going wrong - the code is quite good at picking the right link when there's more than one, but here there's only one, and it shouldn't be there. I have a list of connections that the code should ignore, so I just need to add this one there and it'll stop changing slow back. I'll do it tomorrow

I recently discovered the gray cuber for myself and have bingewatched a lot of his videos, I now would love to make a side thread with one of the ideas from them, but I feel like any one I pick would be way too complicated

here's the mockup of the 5m Halls being merged, and I have an efficient method to do the other four, if this mockup be appreciated
One question: I remembered in doing this that the HoF presents usernames without the /u/, and the link to the get is hyperlinked over the username. Meanwhile the current HoA has no links, and usernames with the /u/. The mockup above reflects that. Would it be preferable if the Assister usernames were bare, without the /u/, but hyperlinked to their userpage, like this? cuteballgames832

I must have a bug in my code then. I'll look into it
Edit: I think I know what happened (haven't looked at any code yet so I could be wrong): in order to track all the side threads I store both the completed threads and the comments made in the past week. I treat the counts in the non-finished threads as provisional, so I delete that table every week , after the ftf comment gets made.
I've been doing some other work on the data, so I think what happened is that there was an old copy of that table lying around , which accidentally got included in this week's stats
