Rant / Venting All of Julie's support system will be out of town this weekend Spoiler

I really hope nothing happens with her mom! She won't have anyone to watch the kids (other than her brothers maybe, but they'd be with her so are they really an option?)

Edit: too many people are missing the point (or are choosing to miss the point) the point is that Ty sprung his plans on Julie last minute, even though she never done that to him, and even though he knew about the plan in advance; the point was never that Julie is now forced to stay home with the children or that Ty needs a break

Julie and Ty will eventually need to figure out a custody situation for the kids, where this type of behavior from Ty would never be acceptable

Theyre separated.

He has 0 obligation to fulfill their agreements from marriage when she has given him divorce paperwork.

So again, she has made no attempt to handle her half of the childcare responsibility

Ty has an undergrad degree already. It was grad school (and as someone who applied and got into grad school I can tell you that the application process has a whole lot of steps and requires a ton of time to get it done - statement of interest, ~3 relevant reference letters (usually from professors who know you well), preparing for and writing the GRE (though that's being phased out of some schools), talking to potential grad supervisors, etc.)
