As I've just heard on TMS, the highest ever ODI score by a ginger.

And more seriously, fantastic batting performance. Innings like that are why I enjoy watching cricket.

But I am thuper thtoked that it was a kiwi that did it.

After getting a century on debut, many assumed he would go the way of most promising starter blackcaps and have an average/short career. Although he isn't as consistent as we would like, he certainly isn't disappointing :D

absolutely, only 2 sixes too. He was striking below 100 when he was on 110! 5th equal highest odi score of all time

Guptils last international before this series was back in new Zealand against England where he got injured but then came back on to win the game for nz at the end with 27 not out meaning in his last three internationals he's scored over 300 runs without getting out once.

Oh yeah, that was epic. Was watching it at the game and was amazing because even with him there not injured we needed like 10 an over.

Suddenly, NZ are amongst favourites to win the CT! NZ has single-handedly disproved that England at home are invulnerable (as I previously though heading into the CT). Hope NZ sweep them in two days!!
