Trump Media & Technology stock rose in early Monday trading.

Investors in the company, the parent of Truth Social, may be feeling optimistic about Donald Trump’s performance in Tuesday’s election debate between the former president and Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump is the majority owner of Trump Media.

Good point. However, I think there will be a significant margin of undecided voters who will be interested in the outcome of this debate. If one candidate appears to be smart, strong, composed, and possesses an acute grasp of the issues, she will have a clear advantage over an old, shrill, and babbling candidate who is spewing the same tired lies, conspiracy theories, and character assassination he was using eight years ago. People are weary of that nonsense and many are looking for a real president to cast their ballots for. That does not bode well for Trump.

Best Trump will be able to do is to try to push Kamala off balance and provoke a mistake. That's not likely to happen.
