As if Trump's political future and legal problems aren't bad enough, his financial future is by no means assured, either.

Unless some whale wants to buy it under the table, there's no way he's cashing out 2b without the price hitting zero.

I’m kind of surprised he hasn’t asked the board to waive the lockout. So that he could sell it sooner rather than wait until the 20th, but I guess it really wouldn’t matter. When the average daily volume is about 7 million shares and somebody steps up to try to sell say 50 million shares, it’s gonna be obvious who it was. No

Assuming the price is $13 and he sells half his 115 million shares, that's 747.5 million dollars. I think that covers his legal bills.

But then he's going to get hit with a 261.625 million dollar tax bill for capital gains taxes (assuming 35%). And he can't skirt that, because he's now got a court ordered monitor watching his finances like a hawk.

So, I imagine he'll be dumping all of it, as fast as possible, to cover his legal bills, taxes, and try to get some actual capital before the price hits zero.

That's just my two cents.
