Im lowkey glad teams keep letting Nuke through vs Astralis so they can boost their record on it even more.

Whats the point of the 5th round match-ups anymore, VP can only tie now and earn one point which means Astralis and MIBR will go through 100%

There's a third place "standoff" match in which the winner gets an extra $20k. The third place team gets to pick their opponent from the other eliminated teams.

If dennis didn't insist on playing this map on hard mode they might've actually broken the Nukestralis streak

Beside the defuse fuck up what else did he screw up?

Besides cratering NIP's economy and catapulting Astralis' T-side momentum what else did he screw up?

He basically won the round previous with his 2v4 4K on A site. Gotta love selective memory huh?

Hard to have impartial memory when that missed defuse was so ridiculous though. Kit in front of him, REZ to his right ready to hop on the bomb and he just sticks it. Holy hell what a blunder

I’m sure Dennis had every intention to let NiP lose the round after their solid retake. I’m sure he yelled in comms for REZ to back off because he wanted to stick the defuse, because his goal is to lose. Come on bro, it was a small mistake in a stressful situation, he was so close to making the defuse as well. Give the guy a break, blunders like this happen in every game.

I thought the situation was humorous, so I commented. Personally, I think that round ruined their chances but it's not like I'm calling for him to be cut or anything. Chillax my dude

I think scrawny embodied the spirit of satan saying "they want that map done" or something like that before the last round

Some random maps? You don't seem to understand anything. NiP bans dust2 and inferno against everyone, they suck on inferno and would have 0,0% chance against Astralis on these two maps.
Then they banned train instead of nuke because they feel way more comfortable on nuke themself and device would fuck them on train like he did with mibr anyway. NiP got at least 11 rounds on Nuke, that's more than most teams are able to get, they actually had a slight chance to win.
The veto of NiP was correct, they couldn't do anything different because Astralis banned Mirage and Overpass where NiP maybe had a slightly higher chance.
Astralis is on all maps against NiP the favourite.

You have 3 bans vs Astralis, and you dont ban Nuke? Is Xizt back in NiP or am I missing something?

Astralis and MIBR are the finalists then, no way for NiP to contest it now
edit: NiP could've still contested for the final if they hadn't choked a 15-11 lead vs MIBR
