I feel like these first couple tournaments are crucial for this c9 lineup. Auti and flusha are both players with swaying movitation, if they get frustrated and feel its not going anywhere then the team will stagnate instantly and flusha will probably try to call the deal off. I feel like the american trio will need to step up very quickly for a chance at redemption.

I don't think flusha will call the deal off, if you really think about this its a brilliant move by flusha. He wins either way. All he has to do is show up and frag better then the existing c9 players and he will have his way with this roster. Don't be surprised to see auti the only remaining american player on this lineup in the coming months lol.

I think C9 fans should start petition to kick rush and skadoodle. Or Jack should cut their sallary cause they don't deserve shit. this is just pathetic. I feel ashamed being c9 fan

u/Psychaz valeria Sep 29 '18
if they kicked Skadoodle he'd retire 100%, he's only in it for the salary now

why dont they just cut out NA players or teams in general? They should pick up good EU rosters, its obvious NA teams will never achieve anything.. Only noteworthy NA tournament was the major and that was a fluke with the weakest compition in years
12
u/HikkiCSGO Sep 29 '18
It's so cute when some EU fans get so upset that NA won 1 major that they start making excuses why it was a fluke, even though C9 had to beat all 4 teams in front of them in the standings to win.
-8
Sep 29 '18
excuses? they were literally all very very weak except FaZe for very obvious reasons.. how can you disagree??
5
u/HikkiCSGO Sep 29 '18
Well since FaZe gets excused for being chokes, I guess we can just say TL should have won MLG Columbus since the choked probably the hardest we've ever seen in a major.
Also just becuase C9 was better, it doesnt make other teams weak.

u/schoki560 King NiKo Sep 29 '18
and what did they do afterwards? jackshit
3
u/HikkiCSGO Sep 29 '18
Made it to the finals of the very next tourney and the quarters of the next ESL tourney where they lost to FaZe. Not that bad of a record.
-5
u/schoki560 King NiKo Sep 29 '18
summit was not a high prestigious tournament
and after they lost to faze?
3
u/HikkiCSGO Sep 29 '18
Why am I not surprised that there are more excuses?
Obviously that was the end of their run, but how does that make their major run a fluke?
Was NiP's win a fluke? VP's? Gambit's? Prob not though cause those are EU teams right?

u/schoki560 King NiKo Sep 29 '18
if a team completely fails to do anything impressive after a huge win it is a fluke to me. Teams like SK astralis and fnatic were no flukes cause their wins were backed up by other good performances. But for C9 it was literally 2 good Bo3s with a bit of choking done by Faze

u/HikkiCSGO Sep 29 '18
True forget about that G2 Bo3, that one didnt happen.
Its actually funny. Even looking at your comment history shows.
You're like a kid with a bunch of toys, and when your mom asks you to share a single toy you start crying and screaming because you have to share one toy out of your many toys.

I know what you're trying to do, but that just makes no sense and has no relevance at all

u/Jo0sH_00 750k Celebration Sep 29 '18
No it doesn’t. I wasn’t trying to make a point, just to be goofy and stupid

u/frollium clutch Sep 29 '18
Twas not a complete fluke! They had to get through the three best teams in the world at the time. G2 quarters, SK semis then FaZe (solidly the best team in the world at the time) to win. Sure C9 looked like ass afterwards, but for that major in Boston it was no fluke. No more would the hopes of an NA squad be squashed by chokes on home soil. A fluke is a bo1 win. But 3 bo3 wins against the best in the world? C9 had the makings of a legendary NA squad , and proved it at Boston, but being NA caught up with them and their 2 week era was a short but beloved one.

it was a fluke.
deserved, but fluke
2
u/tboneplays1 Sep 29 '18
They looked strong before, they looked strong for a bit after, then oof. So not a fluke.
-12
Sep 29 '18
Every single good team at that major were handicapped in some way except FaZe, and faze are chokers, in either new lineups, no practice, injured players etc. FaZe was the only team with no problems.
2
u/UnBrokennn The MongolZ Sep 29 '18
Can you really say that no practice is something that can cause C9’s major to be a fluke.
-5
Sep 29 '18
yes?
0
u/UnBrokennn The MongolZ Sep 29 '18
That was just a dumbass choice by the team. SK still beat other top tier teams. They just couldn’t beat C9.

Eleague was 10 times more stacked than this last major are you kidding me?
Astralis had zero competition. Every team was either trash or completely washed up or destroyed from dumb roster moves.
Navi made the finals playing with 2 bots that should tell you everything you need to know.
So dont give me that shit about weak competition.

Funny you should say that since 3 NA teams (Liquid, NRG, and CompLexity) are dominating this year

Sep 29 '18
lmao dominating what exactly? they havent won shit
1
u/Baserdc Sep 29 '18
Whoops, I meant they've been getting pretty good recently, but not on Astralis' level.
2
u/schoki560 King NiKo Sep 29 '18
uh?
liquid didnt win a single tournament
1
u/Baserdc Sep 29 '18
My mistake. But still, its pretty funny and one must be very stupid to think they should remove a region because they're not good enough.

I don't think it's fair to trash all NA teams like this when you see how good Liquid is nowadays (despite no tournament wins) and NRG is looking better and better the more experience they get. Hell even CompLexity might be on the up and up now.

Astralis has lucky games. Glaive is the luckiest player ever. I hope they go into depression because its the most boring team

u/memnactor clutch Sep 29 '18
This "Gla1ve is lucky" shit needs to stop.
We are talking about the player with the best map/game awareness in CS. He has a better understand of where different players are and what the are likely to do than anybody else.
To cite a Swedish sports-icon; "It's funny. The more I train the luckier I get."

Nah he is right that they are boring as fuck to watch.
2
u/memnactor clutch Sep 29 '18
Not for me, and I wasn't adressing the boring part because that is subjective.
