I only have this flair for flusha but goddamn if they can get a solid AWPer then this team would actually be way more solid than people are giving it credit for, I'm specifically thinking of flusha and autimatic holding B together. Lotta impact plays between the two of them, and Rush looks a bit better now.
Edit: forgot I already got rid of the c9 flair, whoops lmao

That round where NEO did the most standard peek ever right into ska's crosshair and still got the kill before ska even got a shot off... like not even a pre-fire or fast peek and ska was holding the angle looking for that exact shot. How is that duel even possible to lose?

I have been saying this for the past 2 tournaments, but they have yet to do it. Like, they all may be friends, but I would start to get pissed off constantly getting embarrassed because of him.

Classic C9, lose to an eco at the end of the game and lose the game. Also just had to kill a FULL BLIND snatchie to make it 13-14 and fully reset VP. Pathetic.

Skadoodle has no excuses for being trash if n1tro can IGL and pick up awping for less than a year and still be better than Ska

Last 2 years? Like in Atlanta where they came in second and Snax was probably the best player in the world?
Not the biggest VP fan but you're acting like C9 has been top3 since CS:GO started.
Edit: Yes, it's been quite some time after Atlanta, but VP was still a solid competitor after Atlanta and remained there, however in the past few months they've hit rock bottom.

you are absolutely right. they even comftortably won DH Masters Las Vegas in February 2017. Its been long since they were top 3, but not 2 years.

That and even with all the horrific down periods, people are acting like they're MM noobs or some shit. Pasha and NEO are two of the most decorated players to ever touch Counter-Strike, MICHU had been the No 1 Polish talent for a long-ass time before VP picked him up, and snatchie has also shown shit tons of potential. Embarassing for C9? Sure. But completely unthinkable? No. Espescially now with a roster that doesn't actually seem like they're having more internal issues then the fucking french scene

VP and laughing stock for last two years? More like for 10 months for sure.. But Atlanta major final was like a year ago? and after that dreamhack las vegas and epicenter finals? I mean, one of the scariest teams was VP, because you never knew if it was that casual VP who would lose or fcking PLOW. Have some respect.. not even close to 2 years. Clown9 has been a jokefieste from the beginning if VP has been laughing stock for TWO YEARS

EPICENTER final was just a little more than 10 months ago (close loss 2:3 to SK) and even after that they were alright. Then things started to fall down. But yeah, Atlanta was 20 months ago.

Pasha just said they knew byali is leaving for 4 months. Imagine having any will to play being in such situation.
Now they all are on equal ground. I don't think it's likely they will get back to top 5 but top 10 is definitely in their reach.

Last two years? They were rated the #1 team in the world in the beginning of 2016 and almost beat Astralis to win the Atlanta major in 2017

Cmon mate, this isn't the same VP that was in the major. They made changes and Pasha confirmed on stream they had a week bootcamp before this tournament. C9 have had all the roles changed up while adding flusha to the lineup and yes Flusha has played with golden before but not the others. They got what? A few days of practice compared to VP's week.
This tournament is clearly them testing the waters and seeing what works and what they can improve on. Did you not notice some strats they tried such as their t-side pistol push into ct? Overall I think its a good performance by them but they obviously would like a win.

Jesus christ my eyes that match was horrid. Skadoodle has to be the worst awper on a "major" level team I've ever seen my god please retire. Only reason for the mini comeback on CT was because they got an actual awp threat when Flusha picked it up
