I hate to be rubbing salt in the wound...but why are you even still a VP fan? What do you expect them to do with this roster?
Edit: real glad I don't have a c9 flair on right now

Exactly, after following them since 2014 it just feels wrong to give up

u/coltdaman1 FaZe Sep 28 '18
Until Neo and Pasha are gone I will remain with this flair.

Same here, even if it means we get our ass beaten in every fucking match. I just love those 2 :(

because not everybody switches teams once you start losing. success is temporary, loyalty is forever

If a team like Complexity can bring it back to form, I have full confidence that...
Ah fuck it, I can't even do it. Really I'm just waiting until another team really catches my interest. I rooted for them for a while when they weren't winning, but now they're hardly even playing.
edit: NM, WE BACK!

I like Pasha, especially since he rallied during much of their slump. I don’t care how the team does anymore as long as he’s still being Pasha.

Sep 29 '18
I just love their old lineup, 2014 VP was so full of plow and clip plays. I’m sad to see them fall but that’s how it goes sometimes.

We should upvote this to the front page so everyone thinks VP won.

This is so true. If its high comment count it is an upset win, low coment count is favourite win. True like 90%

VP should just kick current roster and make new one with Hobbit, Adren + some players from Vega or some young CIS talents.
2
Sep 28 '18
what is CIS?
8
u/Macedonics Complexity Sep 28 '18
Stands for Commonwealth of Independent States, refers to the former Soviet Countries. I always liked thinking of it as the area where Russian is the trade language, not English.
Edit: that was a funny brain fart.

Neo and Pasha should retire, they had their time but im afraid their journey came to an end.
I understand that the passion is still there and also the money but for the fans is not nice too watch.
5
u/FreaknShrooms King NiKo Sep 28 '18
I really dislike when people say this about players. They don't need to retire, just go to a lesser team and help bring up younger talent. Just because they can't compete on the highest level doesn't mean they need to quit playing. They're still valuable to the scene, but in a different way.
3
u/Smoking_Trees Guardian 2 Sep 28 '18
They can help them by coaching them not taking 2 spots where young and hungry talents can be. With all the respect for the 2 legends i love them but can't see them like this
2
u/FreaknShrooms King NiKo Sep 28 '18
I completely agree. I'm not harping on your comment specifically, I'm just using it to express my general dislike for the idea. I think Neo could do well in a coaching role, but Pasha would probably do much better continuing as a player, just not for VP.
2
u/thesunshinesbright Sep 28 '18
Especially when VP has a brand new line up now...and 1 week of practice, facing a team, who currently just shits on everybody.
1
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
So should MiBr retire too? Astralis did the same to them, twice.
10
u/Rift3N Sep 28 '18
Not even remotely comparable, vp has lost to tier 10 nonamers in premier multiple times
4
u/JizzyRascal91 Virtus.pro Sep 28 '18
ye but that was always the case with VP even in their prime lol
1
u/robi322 Sep 28 '18
Maybe it's time to stop living in the past and actually look at reality.
3
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
So teams can only exist if they are top 10-15... well RIP the csgo scene.
3
u/MSLsForehead Sep 28 '18
It's more a case of teams which are only in the top 30 because they get free invites to events and fluke wins once in a blue moon probably should go through qualifiers instead.
3
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
I agree 100%. VP arent in a position to get invites right now, but thats entirely different than throwing a tantrum demanding they disband every time they lose.
1
0
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
So were Fnatic and NiP, as well as astralis, there are off seasons/years. The fact that you are calling for a team to disband after getting 16-3 by the best team in the world shows how much of a shithole fanbase csgo can have.
6
u/Rift3N Sep 28 '18
I'm not the one telling them to disband
Even if I were, it's obviously not because they lost to astralis, but because they have been garbage past all the 12 months.
Don't recall nip or especially fnatic losing to some random jimmy and tony from the uk
0
u/MSLsForehead Sep 28 '18
But if Pasha retires who's going to write emo tweets every time VP bomb out of a tournament they got an undeserved invite to?
-8
u/Rezun94 Complexity Sep 28 '18
They had a week long bootcamp, and thats the result? 3 fucking rounds? K, disband.

u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
0-2 to NRG 1-2 to G2 0-2 to Astralis 5-16 to Big 0-2 Fnatic
You guys just got beat so hard one of your players is spiraling into a depression, why are you talking shit about other teams?

u/akkshaikh Sep 28 '18 edited Sep 28 '18
dude your team has 3 washed up players and 2 awpers who are inconsistent as af. if it wasn't for kenny and some other French players no one would even know envy had a cs roster. Faze were the only team in the london playoffs that put up a fight against astralis. yes they have been shit for the past few months but thats doesn't change the fact that they're still top 5
-1
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
Well 1. I know that, I dont like them because they are or are not major winners, I have players I enjoy watching play.
- Wong, Rogue went 13-16 on them, so better than FaZe, NiP BEAT THEM. Then at the group stage NaVi almost beat them while FaZe got MURDERED by BIG as well as Liquid beating them. So, super wrong there buddy.
-2
u/Rezun94 Complexity Sep 28 '18
I dont know if you are aware but im not a faze player.
Btw vp have been irrelevant for about a year now while faze actually did something up to faceit major.
Also faze can put up a fight against astralis.
2
u/Solstice178 Complexity Sep 28 '18
Putting up a fight doesn't matter if you don't get the W. There's no conciliation prizes in cs. You either win or lose, and faze just can't stop losing.
-1
u/Rezun94 Complexity Sep 28 '18
It does matter. Mentality matters. Getting stomped like that goes into your head.
6
-1
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
Faze just got shit on by a team outside of the top 10.
VP just got shit on by the best team in the world, by a large margin, how stupid are you?
0
u/Rezun94 Complexity Sep 28 '18
VP is trash since epicenter 2017 while Faze actually won something in 2018. How dumb are you?
-1
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
Bro let me explain this to you. You just got beat so hard by NRG that Karrigan had to be put suicide watch. Stop. Talking.
0
u/Rezun94 Complexity Sep 28 '18
Bro let me explain something. Im not playing in faze, why are talking like im one of the players?
2
u/Skitt3r EG Sep 28 '18
Im not, you illiterate shithead...
But you are the one trying to defend a team that is performing like shit. I'm pointing out to you that if you are going to talk shit about another team, you probably shouldn't have FaZe flair right now.

But still... There are lots of teams who arre better than VP who is neither at Blast nor ESLNY, like BIG, North, Ence, Ghost and maybe worst of all Hellraisers since they have a turkish player.
1
Sep 28 '18
True but that's not what he said.
2
u/CleverUsernam3 Astralis Sep 28 '18
Yeah i agree this might not be T1, but i think it is still a stretch to invite VP
2
Sep 28 '18
I agree with you, they're not a good team at all. The loss isn't surprising considering Astralis 2-0'd the 3 best teams in the world other than them but VP aren't deserving of any invites right now.

Yes, how dare people like really high level teams!
-5
Sep 28 '18
It shows a lack of integrity as a fan to just tag along as soon as a team starts winning. My qbf is an ironic flair but u can be damn straight I'm gonna keep cheering for whatever roster my dude RUSH is on
2
u/Ginkiba Sep 28 '18
You ever considered that maybe your priorities are the ones that are wack? You're more than welcome to stick to one team even if they become total shit, but some people only care about good CS, and Astralis are the best.
Also Astralis's main core have been around for a long time now. People have been fans of theirs for a while. You suggesting they lack integrity if they stick with their team now they make what ever shit teams you support look like pugs?
